Research Skills Accelerator Fund

Research skills are essential to helping local government make the best decisions for residents. The Research Skills Accelerator Fund makes learning and development opportunities available to local government employees looking to build research and analytical skills.

If you work for a local authority in Greater Essex and want to learn to better carry out or use research and evidence, we may be able to help cover the cost.

You may be interested in evaluation, economic analysis, quantitative or qualitative research techniques or how to present analysis with impact. It's completely up to you. You may already know what you want to do, or you may find some ideas in our prospectus below.

You don't need to be a research professional. We are keen for colleagues working in a range of roles to apply. What is important is that you share your learning in ways that help us all make better, evidence-informed decisions.

Before applying, please read our guidelines.
